‘Saka Is As Good As Messi’ –Adams

Arsenal veteran Tony Adams feels Bukayo Saka is as good as Lionel Messi.

Adams made this claim following Saka’s stellar performance for Arsenal this season, in which he has seven goals and six assists in 23 appearances across all competitions.

Saka is also regarded as England’s and Arsenal’s greatest player this season, according to him.

He also compared Saka to PSG forward Lionel Messi, claiming that the England international is as excellent as Argentina’s captain.

“I believe Saka is the player of the season. “The kid is absolutely outstanding,” Adams stated on the Seaman Says Podcast.

“I had a go at Gareth [Southgate] at the World Cup for taking him off.”

He added: “He’s every bit as good as Messi. Messi is obviously at the end of his career. Even when you question him and he missed his penalty at the Euros and he’s come back.

“Every time I see him, he makes goals and scores goals. He’s a phenomenal footballer, the best player for England and the best player for Arsenal.”
