NPFL: Onazi Trains With Remo Stars Ahead of New Season

Former Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi practiced with Remo Stars of the Nigeria Professional Football League on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old took part in the entire practice at the team’s Ikenne training field.

Before the training, the former Lazio star chatted with former Super Eagles midfielder Dayo Ojo and other players.

“@OnaziOgenyi made a courtesy visit to our team’s training on Tuesday,” the club tweeted.

“Onazi, an AFCON winner with the Super Eagles, spent time with the lads before the session.”

It remains to be seen whether the experienced midfielder will sign a deal with the Sky Blue Stars ahead of the new season.

The 2022/23 NPFL season will begin on January 8.
