St. Pauli’s director of sport , Andreas Bornemann is delighted to see Aremu extend his stay at the club.
“We’re happy to have reached an early agreement with Afeez to continue our association,” Bornemann said.
“On arriving in Hamburg he took a while to get used to the new league and the football we want to play, but he has made great strides in his development since then and is an important part of our future plans.”
The 23-year-old joined the Boys in Brown from Norwegian First Division club, Ik Start in 2020.
