Josh Maja, Girondis Bordeaux forward, hopes to continue his scorching form in front of goal.
On Tuesday night, Maja scored twice to help Bordeaux draw 2-2 with Caen in French Ligue 2.
He scored his first goal for Bordeaux in the fourth minute.
The striker put his club ahead 2-0 in the 25th minute after being set up by Yoann Barbet, and he was replaced by Aliou Badji in the 70th minute.
“If we are going to keep this intensity? Yes, we must continue on this route,” the Nigerian said, according to Girondins4Ever.
“We started this game well, we scored two goals early in the game, so it’s good, we have to continue. Yes, it’s my fourth goal in the last three games. My fitness? It’s just work.
“Hard work always pays. I continued to work with my teammates and I hope that I will continue like that.”
