Lorient and Marseille reach an agreement on Moffi’s transfer.

Lorient have accepted Olympic Marseille’s bid for Nigerian import Terem Moffi.

The former Ligue 1 winners must now persuade the striker, who prefers a move to OGC Nice, to accept the offer.

West Ham United, a Premier League club, made a bid for Moffi.

Marseille will pay €15 million plus €5 million in add-ons for the forward, according to the French news outlet L’Equipe.

Bamba Dieng will also relocate to Lorient as part of the transaction.

Only a few issues need to be worked out before the transfer can be completed.

Moffi has 12 goals in 18 league games for Lorient this season.
