Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira complimented Michael Olise for his outstanding performance in the Eagles’ 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.
On the south coast, Olise thrived both on and off the field.
At the Vitality Stadium, the winger assisted on goals by Eberechi Eze and Jordan Ayew.
“He is a young player who is still developing himself,” Vieira stated. “Occasionally, he will make tactical errors and miss something since he is still developing as a player.
“What he is doing in training, I don’t have any reservations about placing him in the starting XI. He was quite disciplined today and played very well. The faith and trust we have in him will help him evolve as a player, which is a positive thing.
“This is an aspect of his game we needed to improve, and you can see that it is coming.”
